Happy New Year Everyone! Let’s take a quick second to look back on last year. I don’t know about you but 2017 was a year of major growth for me. I started the year with a list of resolutions that I hoped to accomplish by December but three months in my mindset completely changed. I realized that all of the things that I originally wanted to accomplish no longer held my interest because in that time frame I decided that wasn’t the path for me. So this year I took that into consideration when drafting my goals for 2018. It came to my attention that these New Year Resolutions we set for ourselves are unrealistic. Most of the time they are just minor goals that we are trying to turn into long-term goals. We’re setting these expectations for ourselves that we’re not even sure we’ll still want down the road. With that being said I want you to really challenge yourself this year. Instead of setting a list of things you hope to accomplish by December 31st. Give yourself monthly intentions. If you think that you want to go vegan this year, set the intention February 1st and for that month go for it! It gives you the opportunity to see if its something you really want to do while allowing you to build the habit and discipline for it in the process.
Write down your monthly intentions and post them somewhere you’ll see them daily.
It’s time to truly live your best life.
Make sure you comment and let me know what your intentions are for this month! I’d love to see them. If you’d like to see my January intentions and a few of the steps I’m taking towards reaching them subscribe to my newsletter.
